During one of our visits to the artist run space SecondRoom in Antwerp, they asked my partner Ilse Van Roy and me if we had ever worked together. Yes, we were each other's assistants on a regular basis, but no, we had never really worked together. That's when the invitation/challenge arose to participate in their series of “one-day exhibitions”. The result is the installation “Embracing Silent Moments Like This”. It is a single work in which we have each been able to express our individuality. Created for one day, it has since been exhibited several times, even abroad.  The work has now been purchased for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp.
